Citizenfour The initial poster and trailer for Citizenfour, Laura Poitras’s explosive documentary on Edward Snowden, were created in secret before the world even knew the film existed. But they were only the start of a campaign that ran from the film’s release at the New York Film Festival in September to the trip to the podium at the Oscars just five months later. Caroline directed the 360-degree marketing plan for Citizenfour, from the highly-successful social media presence, to the theatrical creative advertising, to the wide-reaching awards campaign. Below are the trailer, poster and a sample of the awards advertising.
